RXR finishes $2.6M multi-floor rehab of building in Financial District
RXR Realty, on August 12, formally completed a $2.6 million rehabilitation of several floors of a building at 61 Broadway in Financial District.
The plans, pre-filed on June 15, 2015, call for a rehab of sub-cellar, cellar, mezzanine, floors one, two, five, seven through 15, and 17 through 23 of the 320-foot tall, 33-story, building.
The project is described in the filings as: filing herewith modification on the sprinkler system for the compliance of local law 26/04 on floors sub-cellar, basement, mezzanine, one, two, five, seven through 15, 17 through 23 and installation of 13 temporary loop sprinkler heads on the 31st floor as per plans filed herewith. No change to use, egress or occupancy. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $2,631,600.
RXR has filed five A2 renovations at the building so far this year, all have been less than $1 million.
The property was acquired for $330 million on May 23, 2014 from Broad Street Development.
Knotel finalized a 60,323 square-foot lease for the entire ninth, 10th, 17th and 18th floors of the tower last year.
