Northwell Health finishes $4.5M rehab of Lenox Hill Hospital in the Upper East Side
Northwell Health, on August 12, formally completed a $4.5 million rehabilitation of the Lenox Hill Hospital building at 100 East 77th Street in the Upper East Side.
The plans, pre-filed on March 14, 2015, call for a rehab of the basement, floors four, 10, 11, 13, 14, and the roof of the 137-foot tall, 11-story, building.
The project is described in the filings as: install 600-ton chillers with associated piping and valves, connect to existing chill water system and chiller controls. Modification to the lighting in the mechanical space. Modify housekeeping pad. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $4,501,000.
Northwell Health describes itself as New York’s largest healthcare provider, serving the city, Long Island and Westchester.
Two renovation plans have been filed at the hospital so far this year.
