RXR Realty files plans for a 200-unit, 165K sf residential building in Mott Haven

RXR Realty, on April 21, filed a permit application for construction of a 200-unit, 165,391-square-foot residential building at 2413 Third Avenue in Mott Haven.

The plans call for the construction of a 297-foot tall, 27-story tower.

The project is described in the filings as: erect 27-story new building.

According to the plans, the proposed building will have a residential lobby, dog grooming amenity, accessory leasing office, and retail space in the ground floor. Floor two will have office space, equipment rooms, a fitness amenity, a game room, a kid’s room, and a teen room. Floors three through 27 will have apartment units, four will have private terraces.

The building will have a mixture of affordable and market-rate units, according to a spokesperson from RXR.

Roughly 798-square-feet will be used for commercial space and the average unit size will be 822-square-feet.

Earlier the month, demolition permits were filed for the five-story building currently located on the parcel.

The property was purchased for $23.7 million on March 18, 2020.
