RXR, LBA files plans for 255K sf commercial warehouse in Red Hook

RXR Realty and LBA Realty, on April 21, filed a permit application for construction of a 255,370-square-foot commercial warehouse at 683 Court Street in Red Hook, Brooklyn. Todd Rechler, chief construction and development officer and president of RXR’s construction and development companies, filed the plans.

The property was acquired with additional other properties for $19.5 million on December 17, 2021. The acquisition was part of a larger deal in which RXR Realty and LBA Realty paid $123 million to Buckeye Partners for eight industrial and development properties in two separate transactions.

There have been six new building plans, including these, filed in the neighborhood in the previous 12 months.

The plans call for the construction of a 94-foot-tall, three-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number B00703468.

The development site spans two tax lots. The lot has a width of 515 feet.

The project is described in the filing as: proposed new construction of commercial warehouse.

Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have a commercial lobby, warehouse space, an office, and parking space. The second floor will have warehouse space. The third floor will have warehouse space and commercial vehicle storage. The roof will have commercial vehicle storage.

The architect listed is Perkins Eastman.
