RXR finishes $24.7M multi-floor rehab of 32 Old Slip in FiDi

RXR Realty, on May 12, formally completed a $24.7 million rehabilitation of multiple floors of 32 Old Slip, also known as One Financial Square, in the Financial District.

The plans, pre-filed on August 29, 2019, call for a rehab of floors 17 through 22 of the 365-foot tall, 36-story building.

The project is described in the filings as: general construction modifications taking place on the 17 through 22nd floors as per plans filed herewith. No change in use, egress, or occupancy. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $24,707,000.

Gensler was the architect named.

Last year, the visual effects studio FuseFx signed a seven-year lease for 15,000 square feet of space on the 17th floor of the building. According to a report from the Commercial Observer, asking rent in the deal was in the mid-$60s per square foot.
