Rockefeller Group files plans for a $21M rehab of multiple floors at former Time-Life Building
Rockefeller Group, on May 7, filed a permit application for a $21.1 million rehab of several floors at 1271 Avenue of the Americas in Midtown West.
The plans call for a renovation of floors 1, 42, 43, 45, and 46 of the 574-foot tall, 47-story, building.
The project is described in the filings as: (package 1) removal and installation of interior non-bearing partitions and related finishes as per plans filed herewith. No change in use, egress or occupancy under this application. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $21,095,953.
On March 17, Rockefeller filed plans for a $13M interior build-out on floors 34 and 36 through 38 of the building.
