Rockefeller Foundation files plans for $20.5M fit-out of their headquarters at 420 Fifth Avenue
Rockefeller Foundation, on October 25, filed plans for a $20.5 million fit-out at 420 Fifth Avenue in the Garment District, Manhattan.
The Rockefeller Foundation owns five floors in the building. They occupied the space in the early 1990s, before exercising an option to buy the floors by paying the remaining bond obligations of $30 million, according to the Real Deal.
The firm recently filed plans for $5.8 million of work on the same floors of the building.
The plans call for work on floors 19 through 23 of the 393-foot-tall, 30-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number M00602249.
The project is described in the filing as: RF foundation – floors 19-23 fit out – modifications of partitions, ceilings, doors according to plans filed herewith. no change to use, egress or occupancy.
The architect listed is Studios Architecture.
