Related files for additional $6.8M rehab of Truffles Tribeca, for $14.3M total

Related Companies, on October 27, filed a permit application for a $6.8 million rehabilitation of a residential building, known as Truffles Tribeca, at 34 Desbrosses Street in Tribeca.

The plans come one day after the firm filed for a $7.5 million rehab of the building.

The plans call for a rehab of all floors of the 150-foot tall, 15-story, building.

The project is described in the filings as: window replacement throughout building, as per plans filed herewith. No change to use egress or occupancy. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $6.75 million.

SLCE Architects is the architect.

The property was acquired for $260 million on February 1, 2019. Related purchased the 291-unit luxury apartment building from Jack Parker Corporation, which developed the building ten years earlier.
