Related Companies, on October 26, filed a permit application for a $7.5 million rehabilitation of several floors of a residential rental building, known as Truffles Tribeca, at 34 Desbrosses Street in Tribeca.
The plans call for a rehab of all floors of the 150-foot tall, 15-story, building.
The project is described in the filings as: window replacement taking on throughout building, as per plans filed herewith. No change to use egress or occupancy. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $7,500,000.
SLCE Architects is named as the architect.
The property was acquired for $260 million on February 1, 2019. Related purchased the 291-unit luxury apartment building from Jack Parker Corporation, which developed the building ten years earlier.

Related Companies, on the same date, formally completed a $3.5 million rehab of two floors of an office building at 501 West 30th Street in Hudson Yards.
The plans, pre-filed on October 26, 2015, call for a rehab of floors 46 and 47 of the 565-foot tall, 48-story, building.
The project is described in the filings as: construct interior partitions, ceilings and doors as shown on drawings filed herewith. No change in use, egress or occupancy. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $3,493,785.
HLW International LLP was the architect for the project.
