Related finishes $8M multi-floor build-out of restaurant at 30 Hudson Yards

Related Companies, on September 2, formally completed an $8 million build-out of restaurant space on two floors of their office building, known as 30 Hudson Yards, which also operates under the address 500 West 33rd Street, in Hudson Yards.

The plans, pre-filed on March 9, 2018, call for work of three retail units which make up an eating and drinking establishment on the fifth and sixth floors of the 1269-foot tall, 68-story, building.

The project is described in the filings as: construct interior partitions, ceilings and doors. Retail units # 508, 604, 605. Early plumbing work performed under dob # 123151551. No change in use, egress or occupancy. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $8,029,000.

According to the building’s most recent Schedule A, retail units 508, 604, and 605 are part of an eating and drinking establishment that makes up part of the fifth and sixth floors of the building. Retail unit 508 also includes a kitchen on the fifth floor.

Related recently completed three additional rehabilitation projects totaling $25.4 million at the building.
