PM Architecture files plans for 41-unit resi building in Longwood Melrose

PM Architecture, on January 11, filed a permit application for construction of a 41-unit, 32,950-square-foot residential building at 215 E 163rd Street in Longwood Melrose. Parag Mehta was the applicant.

The plans call for the construction of an 80-foot-tall, eight-story residential building.

The project is described in the filings as: new building, eight-story with cellar residential building. Other work types to be filed separately.

According to the plans, the building’s cellar will have parking space for six cars. The ground floor will have five dwelling units and a laundry room. Floors two through six will each have six dwelling units per floor, while floors seven and eight will each have three dwelling units per floor.

PM Architecture is also listed as the architect.

No demolition plans have been filed yet.

The property was acquired for $1.1 million on June 29, 2017. Parag Mehta was the signatory on the transaction.
