Plans filed for 67-unit resi building in Fordham

Michael Hunt under the 2074 Walton Realty LLC, on February 25, filed a permit application for construction of a 67-unit, 40,508-square-foot residential building at 2074 Walton Avenue in Fordham.

The plans call for the construction of a 74-foot tall, eight-story residential building.

The project is described in the filings as: new apartment building.

The ground floor will have a residential lobby and nine dwelling units, according to the plans. Floors two through four will each have nine dwelling units per floor, while floors five through eight will each have eight dwelling units per floor.

Max Disla Architect is listed as the architect.

Demolition plans have not been filed yet, these new building plans are the first plans filed at the building since 1995.

An estimated completion date has not been announced.

The property was acquired for $331,000 on October 5, 2006.
