Plans filed for $5.6M multi-floor rehab of Reuben Bros. Surrey Hotel

On June 23, plans were filed for a $5.6 million rehabilitation of several floors of the Surrey Hotel at 20 East 76th Street in the Upper East Side, Manhattan. The property is 135,582-square-feet.

Back in December of 2020, Reuben Brothers through the entity Surrey Propco LLC paid the Kaufman Organization affiliate Surrey Realty Associates LLC $150.2 million for the building.

The plans call for work on floors three through 16 of the 150-foot-tall, 15-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number M00689794.

The project is described in the filing as: application filed for interior renovations from third through 16th floors.

The architect listed is BKSK Architects, LLP.

The property was acquired for $150.2 million on December 3, 2020.
