Plans filed for 47-unit resi building in Douglaston

Gandolfo Difiore through the company Manor North Properties LLC, on March 17, filed a permit application for construction of a 47-unit, 34,530-square-foot residential building at 44-14 Douglaston Parkway in Douglaston, Queens.

The plans call for the construction of an 84-foot tall, eight-story residential building.

The project is described in the filings as: new eight-story plus cellar and sub-cellar, 47-unit, class ‘A’ multiple dwelling as per ‘quality housing’ provisions.

The ground floor of the building will have three dwelling unit and a residential lobby, according to the plans. Floors two through six will each have seven dwelling units per floor, the seventh floor will have five units, and the eighth floor will have four dwelling units. The seventh and eighth floors and the roof will also have terraces. The building will have parking for 21 cars.

Frank J Quatela Architects is the architect named.

Demolition plans have not been filed yet.

The property was acquired for $500,000 on April 13, 2005.
