PJ Alizio Realty flies plans for $4.4M of rehabs to Seaview Towers in Far Rockaway

PJ Alizio Realty, on July 1, filed two permit applications for a total of $4.4 million worth of rehabilitation work on multiple floors of the Seaview Towers buildings at 331 Beach 31st Street and 333 Beach 32nd Street in Far Rockaway.

The plans call for a rehab of the roofs and floors 1 through 20 of each of the 177-foot tall, 20-story, buildings.

The first project, for 331 Beach 31st Street, is described in the filings as: proposed replacement of existing roof surface and interior renovations consisting of direct replacement of lighting fixtures, finishes and rooftop doors as per plans filed herewith. No change in use, egress, or occupancy.

The second project, for 333 Beach 32nd Street, is described in the filings as: proposed replacement of existing roof surface and interior renovations consisting of direct replacement of lighting fixtures, finishes and rooftop doors as per plans filed herewith. No change in use, egress, or occupancy.

Busch Associates Architects is the architect on both of the applications.

The owner, an entity controlled by the Alizio family, paid $42 million to AIMCO, a national real estate investment trust located in Colorado, for the 462 rental apartments at Seaview Towers.
