Piermont Properties files plans for a 46-unit mixed-use building in Jamaica Estates
Piermont Properties, on June 5, filed a permit application for construction of a 46-unit, 39,536-square-foot mixed-use building at 183-03 Hillside Avenue in Jamaica Estates.
The plans call for the construction of an 85-foot tall, seven-story, mixed-use building.
The project is described in the filings as: erection of new seven-story, mixed-use building. Michael I. Grey was identified as the company’s managing partner in the filing.
The building will have 16 parking spaces, spanning 5,864-square-feet, according to the plans. The ground floor will have two retail spaces, totaling 4,603-square-feet, parking space for seven vehicles, and a residential lobby. The second floor will have a recreational room, just under 500 square feet, as well as seven dwelling units. Floors three through six will each have eight units each, while the seventh floor will have seven units. The roof will provide just over 200 square feet of outdoor recreational space to tenants.
The dwelling units will most likely be rentals based on their average size of 746 square feet per unit.
The property was acquired for $4.2 million on October 15, 2019.
Marin Architects is listed as the architect on the application.
