Peter Fine permitted for 163-unit resi building in Riverdale

Peter Fine, on December 4, was given a permit for construction of a 163-unit, 121,218-square-foot residential building at 261 East 202nd Street in Riverdale. The permit was issued two days after the developer received a permit for his plans for a 160-unit, 119,649-square-foot residential building at 270 East 203rd Street in Riverdale.

The plans, pre-filed on July 25, 2019, call for the construction of a 115-foot tall, 11-story residential building.

The project is described in the filings as: a 11-story building.

The cellar of the building will have office space, an exercise room, computer room, and laundry room, per the plans. The ground floor will have a lobby and 12 dwelling units. Floors two and three will each have 17 dwelling units, floors four through eight will each have 16 dwelling units per floor, floors nine and 10 will each have 13 dwelling units, while the 11th floor will have 10 dwelling units. The building will have three open parking spaces. The dwelling units will be used for sleeping accommodations in connection with a non-profit.

Aufgang Architects was the architect for the project.

Demolition plans were filed in 2017.

Reports at the time of filing stated an estimated completion date had not been announced.

The property was acquired for $800,000 on August 30, 2017.
