Peter Fine permitted for 119K sf rental in Riverdale

Peter Fine through the company Bolivar Ventures II, LLC, on December 2, was given a permit for construction of a 160-unit, 119,649-square-foot residential building at 270 East 203rd Street in Riverdale.

The plans, pre-filed on July 25, 2019, call for the construction of a 115-foot tall, 11-story residential building. Peter Fine is the founder of the affordable housing developer Atlantic Development Group.

The project is described in the filings as: a 11-story building.

The cellar will have an exercise room, amenity room, computer room, offices, and laundry room, according to the plans. The ground floor will have a lobby and 10 dwelling units. Floors two and three will have 17 dwelling units, floors four through eight will each have 16 dwelling units per floor, floors nine and 10 will each have 13 dwelling units, and the 11th floor will have 10 dwelling units. The dwelling units will be used for sleeping accommodations in connection with a non-profit.

Aufgang Architects is listed as the architect.

The lot is currently vacant, as the single family home that occupied the property was demolished in October of last year.

An estimated completion date has not been announced.
