Permit for 12-unit resi building in University Heights
Cezar Haxhari, on March 8, was given a permit for construction of a 12-unit, 8,311-square-foot residential building at 2311 Andrews Avenue North in University Heights, the Bronx.
The permit issued was a plumbing permit. The developer received initial new building and foundation permits in November of 2020.
The plans, pre-filed on June 28, 2019, call for the construction of a 37-foot tall, four-story resi building.
The project is described in the filings as: New four-story residential building.
The ground floor of the building will have two dwelling units and utility space, per the plans. The second floor will have three dwelling units, while the third floor will have four dwelling units. The fourth floor will have the lower half of three duplex units, the upper halves of while will be located at the penthouse level.
Fred Geremia Architects and Planners was the architect listed.
Demolition of the three-story building that previously occupied the property was completed last year.
The property was acquired for $475,000 on April 29, 2019.
