Paramount Group finishes $4M rehab of MongoDB-leased offices in Paramount Plaza

Paramount Group, on June 15, completed a $3.9 million renovation of office space on two floors at 1633 Broadway in Midtown West.

The plans, pre-filed on March 16, 2018, call for a rehab of office space on floors 37 and 38 of the 709-foot tall, 48-story, building.

The project was permitted in October of 2018.

The project is described in the filings as: removal and installation of interior partitions and related finishes as per plans filed herewith. no change in use, egress or occupancy under this application. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $3,900,000.

MongoDB, a software company that develops and provides commercial support for the open source database platform, leased out more than 106,000 square feet on the 37th and 38th floors of the building in 2017. The deal had an initial lease term of 12 years.

HLW International LLP is the architect listed on the application.
