Paramount Group finishes $2.5M build-out for Searchlight Capital in Plaza District

Paramount Group, on August 5, formally completed a $2.5 million build-out of two floors of an office building, known as the Plaza District building, at 745 Fifth Avenue in the Plaza District.

The plans, pre-filed on September 11, 2019, call for a build-out of floors 26 and 27 in the 350-foot tall, 35-story, building for tenant Searchlight Capital.

The project is described in the filings as: minor demolition. Installation of new partitions, doors, suspended ceilings, flooring and finishes as per plans (Searchlight – office build-out.) No change to use, egress or occupancy. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $2,517,700.

Searchlight Capital Partners is a private investment firm.

No plans have been filed at the property so far this year.

Paramount recently finished a $3.6 million rehabilitation of one floor at 1325 Avenue of the Americas in Midtown West.
