Paramount Group files plans for $75.7M project at 60 Wall Street

Paramount Group, on May 4, filed plans for a $75.7M project at 60 Wall Street in Financial District, Manhattan. The project is part of a major investment plan to modernize and reimagine the building which Paramount announced last year.

Per the press release, the project will involve an extensive repositioning of building’s base and interiors, including work on the lobby and public atrium. Additionally, the building’s revitalization includes a transformative opening up of the facade, new triple height windows, the addition of a skylight and the installation of the largest indoor green wall in North America.

Conceptual renderings of 60 Wall Street

Back in 2017, GIC, Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund, and Paramount announced that they had formed a joint venture to acquire 60 Wall Street for $1.04 billion, or approximately $640 per square foot. In connection with the acquisition, the joint venture completed a $575 million financing of the property.

The plans were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number M00690568.

The project is described in the filing as: Application to file an Alteration Type One for Base Building Change of Use, Egress and Occupancy per per plans filed herewith. General demolition and construction of covered pedestrian space interior, lobby interior, building enclosure.

Per the plans, a restaurant will be constructed on the ground floor of the building.
