Oxford Properties gets TCO for $2.1M project to add eating areas and assembly spaces to Olympic Tower
Oxford Properties, on December 4, was issued a temporary certificate of occupancy for a $2.1 million project that added eating areas and assembly space to two floors of the Olympic Tower at 645 Fifth Avenue in Plaza District.
The plans, pre-filed on May 1, 2019, call for a change in use of two floors of the 677-foot tall, 51-story building.
The project is described in the filings as: filing herewith for an alteration type 1 filing to change the use on the 16 and 17th floors. The 16th floor change of use to include multi-purpose and break out assembly spaces. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $2,089,144.00.
According to the plans, the 16th floor got a kitchen, marketplace and servery, dining area, and multipurpose space. The 17th floor got a multipurpose space and conference rooms.
