Oxford, Canadian fund file plans for $11.7M project at Google campus in Soho

Oxford Properties Group and the Canadian Pension Plan Investment Board, on November 15, filed plans for an $11.7 million project relating to work on the fourth story terrace at 550 Washington Street in Soho, Manhattan.

The plans are part of the redevelopment of St. John’s Terminal as part of Google’s Hudson Square campus. Google announced in September that it would buy the building for $2.1 billion. According to reports, it will be the largest American office deal since 2018, and one of the largest in history.

Over the last 12 months, the developers have filed $258.7 million worth of alteration plans at the building.

Renderings of the project, with the terrace, can be seen below.

The plans call for work on the terrace of the 232-foot-tall, 12-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number M00603620.

The project is described in the filing as: General construction and structural modifications taking place on the fourth floor terrace as per plans filed herewith. No change in use, egress or occupancy.
