Oxford, Canadian fund file multiple plans for $33.7M in build-outs for Google campus in Soho

Oxford Properties Group and the Canadian Pension Plan Investment Board, on June 4, filed three plans for a total of $33.7 million of work at 550 Washington Street in Soho, Manhattan.

The plans are part of the redevelopment of St. John’s Terminal as part of Google’s Hudson Square campus.

The developers signed a loan agreement with lender Wells Fargo Bank valued at $368.4 million for the project last year. The deal brought the total debt to $972.6 million.

The first plans call for work on the sixth floor of the 232-foot tall, 12-story building, and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under number M00528295.

The project is described in the filing as: General construction modifications taking place on the 6th floor as per plans filed herewith. No change in use, egress or occupancy.

Gensler is the architect listed.

The project is described in the filing as: General construction modifications taking place on the seventh floor as per plans filed herewith. No change in use, egress or occupancy.

The initial cost is listed as $10.1 million.
