NYC School Construction Authority files plans for $46M of renovations on two Staten Island schools

NYC School Construction Authority, on April 13, filed two permit applications, totaling $46 million, for renovations on two schools in Staten Island.

The first project, on New Dorp High School, located at 465 New Dorp Lane, is described in the filings as: parapets, exterior masonry and roof replacement The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $36,027,079.

The second project, on Graniteville School, located at 1860 Forest Avenue, is described in the filings as: filing herewith for flood elimination, roof repairs, parapet repairs, and exterior masonry repairs. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $10,069,371.
