NYC files for $50M surge capacity rehab of North Central Bronx hospital in Riverdale

NYC Health + Hospitals, on April 16, filed a permit application for a $50.2 million renovation on six floors of the North Central Bronx hospital at 3424 Kossuth Avenue in Riverdale.

The plans call for a renovation on floors 1, 6, 10, and 15-17 of the 403-foot tall, 18-story, building.

The project is described in the filings as: interior renovation on part of 1st, 6th and; 10th floor and full floors 15-17 as indicated on attached plans. Surge capacity emergency renovation project the initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $50,244,614.
