NYC DEP is fully permitted for a $9M rehab of wastewater building on Randall’s Island
NYC Department of Environmental Protection, on June 12, was given a permit for a $9 million rehab of a boiler plant building at 107 2nd Drive on Randall’s Island and Wards Island. The building is part of the Wards Island Wastewater Treatment Plant facility.
The plans, pre-filed August 27, 2017, call for a rehab of the 48-foot tall, one-story, building.
The project is described in the filings as: renovations and vault extension for boiler plant building as per plans filed herewith. No change to use, egress, or occupancy. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $8,970,000.
