NewYork-Presbyterian files to demo 4 buildings to make way for Washington Heights mixed-use building
NewYork-Presbyterian, on July 21, filed permit applications to demolish four buildings in Washington Heights to clear the site for a 13-story mixed-use building at 601 West 169th Street. The four buildings are 601 West 169th Street, 4023 Broadway, 4037 Broadway and 600 West 170th Street.
The new building is a part of the hospital’s campus.
The hospital filed plans in April for a 132-unit, 192,921-square-foot residential building at 611 West 169th Street.
Some of the buildings have been in the hospital’s residential portfolio since the 1960s.
