Nehalkumar Gandhi filed plans for two hotels totaling 180 rooms in Ocean Hill, Brooklyn, in two separate applications.
In the first, Gandhi, on January 6, filed a permit application for construction of a 105-key, 35,776-square-foot hotel at 2384 Atlantic Avenue in Ocean Hill.
The plans call for the construction of a 84-foot tall, eight-story, hotel.
The project is described in the filings as: proposed eight-story hotel.
The building’s cellar will have laundry, per the plans. The ground floor will have a lobby, reception, breakfast area, business center, office, and seven dwelling units. Floors two through eight will each have 14 rooms per floor.
Michael Kang Architect will be the architect.
Demolition plans were filed for the four-story commercial building on the property in February of 2020.
The property was acquired for $6.2 million on December 13, 2019.

On the same day, the developer filed a permit application for construction of a 75-key, 30,557-square-foot hotel at 2396 Atlantic Avenue in Ocean Hill.
The plans call for the construction of a 85-foot tall, eight-story, hotel.
The project is described in the filings as: proposed eight-story hotel.
The building’s ground floor will have a lobby, reception, breakfast area, and five dwelling units. Floors two through eight will each have 10 dwelling units per floor. The building will also have laundry and four parking spaces.
No demolition plans have been filed yet.
Michael Kang Architect will also be the architect for this development.
