Mount Sinai files plans for $13M rehab of medical building in Clinton

Mount Sinai, on June 8, filed plans for a $13 million rehab of a medical building at 432 West 58th Street in Clinton, Manhattan.

The property was acquired for $71.5 million on April 20, 2018. Mount Sinai sold it to the Italian private school La’Scoula d’Italia for $55 million in 2015, before buying it back for $72 million when the school ran into legal trouble.

The plans call for structural modifications of the 11-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number M00719085.

The project is described in the filing as: Mount Sinai West Ambulatory – 432 West 58th Street – structural modifications as per plans filed herewith. No change in use, egress, or occupancy.
