Brookfield Properties files plans for $6.2M build-out for NY Times at The New York Times Building

Brookfield Properties, on June 8, filed plans for a $6.2 million build-out for tenant the New York Times at 620 8th Avenue in Times Square, Manhattan. The building is known as The New York Times Building, as the New York Times Company occupies the lower portion of the tower through floor 27.

The plans call for work on floors 19 and 20 of the 840-foot-tall, 51-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number M00736621.

The project is described in the filing as: General construction for office renovations inclusive of interior demo erection of partitions.

The architect listed is Gensler.
