Morgan Stanley finishes $3.5M multi-floor rehab at Times Square headquarters

Morgan Stanley, on November 19, formally completed a $3.5 million rehabilitation of two floors of its headquarters at 1585 Broadway in Times Square.

The plans, pre-filed on September 17, 2018, call for a rehab of floors four and seven of the 685-foot tall, 42-story building.

The project is described in the filings as: setback roof renovation as per plans filed herewith. no change in use, occupancy or egress under this application. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $3,483,472.00.

Hoffmann Architects was the architect.

Morgan Stanley has owned the building since the 1990s.

The firm has filed 14 A2 rehab filings at the building so far this year.
