Monadnock files plans for a total of $12.2M in rehabs of resi buildings in Washington Heights, Kips Bay

Monadnock Development, on August 20, filed two permit applications for a total of $12.2 million in rehabilitations of two residential buildings.

The first plan calls for a rehab of the basement, sub-cellar, and floors one through seven of a 123-foot tall, seven-story, building at 99 Fort Washington Avenue in Washington Heights.

The project is described in the filings as: filed for interior renovation of sub-basement through seventh floor of existing seven-story multiple dwelling: remove and replace non-bearing partitions, ceiling and floor finishes and doors as per plans filed herewith; no change to use, egress or occupancy proposed. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $6,102,000.

The second plans call for a rehab of the cellar and floors one through 18 of a 231-foot tall, 26-story, building at 344 East 28th Street in Kips Bay.

The project is described in the filings as: filed for interior renovation of cellar and up in 26 floor existing multiple dwelling: remove and replace non-bearing partitions, ceiling and floor finishes, doors and windows as per plans filed herewith; no change to use, egress or occupancy. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $6,102,000.
