Midwood Investment and Development files plans for a $2M tenant fit-out for Walgreens in Williamsburg

Midwood Investment and Development, on May 28, filed a permit application for a $1.5 million rehab of the ground floor retail space of a mixed-use building at 282 South 5th Street in Williamsburg.

The plans call for a ground floor tenant fit-out of the 149-foot tall, 13-story, building.

The project is described in the filings as: tenant fit-out of existing 7,815 square feet, first-floor space for use as Walgreens pharmacy. Scope includes architect and mechanical, electrical and plumbing modifications. Existing building sprinkler system heads to be modified for new store layout and new standalone fire alarm system will be installed and connect to house panel. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $1,500,000.

Bergmann is listed as the architect on the application.
