Mendy Tessler files plans for 26-unit resi building in University Heights

Mendy Tessler, on April 11, filed a permit application for construction of a 26-unit, 17,567-square-foot residential building at 80 Clinton Place in University Heights, the Bronx.

Last year the developer filed plans for the construction of a 51-unit, 26,826-square-foot residential building at 2187 Ryer Avenue in Fordham and for the construction of a 45-unit, 18,750-square-foot residential building at 2361 Morris Avenue in Fordham.

There have been seven new building plans, including these, filed in the neighborhood in the previous 12 months.

The plans call for the construction of a 50-foot-tall, four-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number X00710727.

The development site spans two tax lots. The site has a lot width of 102 feet.

The project is described in the filing as: proposed four-story and penthouse residential building, total of 26 residential units.

Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have three dwelling units and eight parking spaces. Floors two through four will each have seven dwelling units per floor, while the penthouse will have two dwelling units.

The architect listed is Nikolai Katz Architect.
