Mendy Schwimmer files plans for 55 units in East Williamsburg

Mendy Schwimmer submitted a new building construction project for a 55-unit, 52,299-square-foot residential (R-2) building at 877 Grand Street in East Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The plan was filed on May 4, 2026. It calls for the construction of a 115-foot-tall, ten-story building and was filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number B01379089. The project is described in the filing as: new 10 story and penthouse residential building total 55 dwelling units. The applicant is the Registered Architect Thomas Scibilia of NA Design Studio.

One of those four items was a sale which St. Nicks Alliance bought the 151,824-square-foot, 96-unit rental (D9) on 75 Bushwick Avenue for $5.2 million from Richman Group on January 10, 2025.
Of those four items, three were loans above $5 million totaling $19.6 million. The most recent of the three was Watermark Capital Group in which borrowed $7.1 million from Amalgamated Bank secured by the 5,028-square-foot, six-unit rental (C2) on 295 Maujer Street and three other properties on April 15, 2026.
