Makhan Sandhu permitted for 120-key hotel in Jamaica

Makhan Sandhu, on july 13, received a permit for construction of a 120-key, 38,010-square-foot hotel building at 143-10 94th Avenue in Jamaica, Queens.

The plans, pre-filed on November 11, 2020, call for the construction of a 95-foot tall, nine-story hotel.

The plans are described in the filings: this application is filed for new nine-story transient hotel and community facility building.

Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have a hotel lobby, lounge, health care area, and reception area. Floors two through nine will each have 15 hotel rooms per floor.

The property was acquired for $1.6 million on June 25, 2020.
