Madison Capital files demo plans at Red Hook site with 315K buildable sf

Madison Capital, on September 1, filed two permit applications for the demolition of industrial buildings at 688 Court Street and 702 Court Street in Red Hook, Brooklyn.

These are the first demolition plans filed in the neighborhood this year.

The developer has not filed new building plans yet, since acquiring the properties for $45 million on May 27, 2021.

At the time of the purchase, the two properties have 65,318 square feet of built space and 250,345 square feet of additional air rights for a total buildable of 315,360 square feet.

The plans call for the demolition of a one-story building at 688 Court Street.

The project is described in the filings as: filing herewith plans for the demolition of an existing one-story building. (Building b).
