An anonymous buyer through the entity Thinly Sliced Lox LLC paid Macklowe Properties’s Garage 53 LLC $2.2 million for the garage condominium at 310 East 53rd Street in Midtown East. The deal closed on July 7, 2020, and was recorded on July 20, 2020. The transaction consists of 1 parcel, including the tax class commercial condominium unit (R5). The property is 16,235 square feet.
The average sale price per square foot is $134.

Macklowe developed the property, which had its condo plan declared effective in 2006.

The contract date was June 10, 2020. The last time the property sold was November 20, 2013, for $2,400,000. In June, the building’s condo board recorded a $12,017 lien against the garage unit for two months of unpaid common charges.
