Lynn Kornblum receives TCO for 28-unit residential building in Bed-Stuy

Lynn Kornblum, on October 20, was issued a temporary certificate of occupancy for construction of a 28-unit, 23,805-square-foot residential building at 348 Nostrand Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn.

The plans, pre-filed on February 18, 2015, call for the construction of a 70-foot tall, seven-story residential building. The time from pre-file to TCO was five years and eight months.

The project is described in the filings as: new seven-story residential building with accessory parking. Related general construction, plumbing and mechanical work.

The ground floor of the building has two dwelling units, a retail store, and a residential lobby, according to the plans. Floors two through six each have five dwelling units per floor, while the seventh floor has one dwelling unit. The roof provides an outdoor recreation area.

Tarlan Design Build is the architect named.

An affordable housing lottery opened for nine of the units in October of 2019.
