Love Fellowship Tabernacle, Alembic file plans for 236-unit rental in Ocean Hill

Love Fellowship Tabernacle, Alembic Community Development and Brooklyn Community Housing Services, on August 24, filed a permit application for construction of a 236-unit, 190,615-square-foot residential building at 2435 Pacific Street in Ocean Hill. Hezekiah Walker, senior pastor and founder of Love Fellowship Tabernacle, filed the plans.
The project will included affordable housing, according to information from Alembic’s website, which says, “The building will provide apartments affordable to individuals and families earning up to 80% AMI, as well as 74 apartments affordable to formerly homeless individuals. The project will also contain approximately 8,000 square feet of commercial space, community rooms and gardens for residents.”
The plans, pre-filed on August 24, 2022, call for the construction of a 95-foot tall, 10-story, 190,615-square-foot residential building with 236 residential units.
The project is described in the filings as: filing herewith to erect a 10-story mix use building as per plans filed herewith.
A 2020 community board presentation reported one of the developers said the latest total cost at that time was $135 million.
