Lakhwinder Multani plans a 98-unit hotel in Jamaica

Lakhwinder Multani, on June 10, filed a permit application for construction of a 98-unit, 35,363-square-foot hotel at 144-20 Liberty Avenue in Jamaica.

The plans call for the construction of a 69-foot tall, seven-story hotel building.

The project is described in the filings as: this application is filed for seven-story new building, mixed-use transient hotel, residential and banquet hall.

The cellar of the hotel will have a banquet hall, exercise room, breakfast serving room, and laundry facilities, according to the plans. The ground floor will have a reception and lobby area along with a 1,268-square-feet recreation space. Floors one through five will each have 20 hotel rooms, while floors six and seven will have 11 and seven apartments, respectively. The building will be accompanied by 19 parking spaces on the ground floor level.

M S Savani Architects PC will be responsible for the development.

The property was acquired for $2.5 million on December 23, 2016.
