$4M build-out filed for $31M unit at 220 Central Park South
Vornado Realty Trust, on June 9, filed a permit application for a $3.8 million build out in an apartment at 220 Central Park South in Central Park South that was purchased in December 2019 for $30.9 million.
The plans call for a renovation of apartment 34A of the the 1,033-foot tall, 70-story, building.
The project is described in the filings as: apartment renovation on 24th construction/34th floor marketing, as shown on drawings filed herewith. No change in use, egress or occupancy. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $3,790,777.
Apartment 34A last sold on December 3, 2019 for $30.9 million.
Vornado has filed plans for a series of renovations at the building so far in 2020. Ken Griffin paid a record setting $238 million for 50th to the 53rd floor of the building in 2019.
Ferguson & Shamamian Architects is listed on the application.
