L3 Capital permitted for demo of 4 buildings in Williamsburg, make way for 16K retail

L3 Capital is fully permitted for the demolition of four contiguous buildings along Bedford Avenue between North 6th Street and North 7th Street in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Dominic Lanni, co-founder and managing principal of L3 Capital, filed the plans on August 5, 2021.

The city issued the permits on August 30, 2022, for the demolition of the four buildings, which include 186, 188, 190 and 192 Bedford Avenue in Williamsburg.

Each of the demo projects is described in the filings as: full demolition of one-story structure, using hand held and mechanical means to assist

186 Bedford, a one-story building, was acquired with two other properties for $20.7 million on December 23, 2014. 188 Bedford, a three-story building, was acquired for $15.2 million on April 10, 2019. 190 Bedford, a three-story building, was acquired for $13.2 million on May 20, 2016. 192 Bedford, a two-story building, The property was acquired for $12.2 million on April 20, 2015.

L3 Capital filed plans a year ago on August 23, 2021, to build a 16,750-square-foot retail building on these four tax lots and one other, as PincusCo reported at the time.
