Kaufman Organization files for $12.9M in rehab including retail at Midtown East office building
Kaufman Organization, on September 2, filed two permit applications for a total of $12.9 million in rehabilitations of an office building at 767 Third Avenue in Midtown East.
The first plans, pre-filed by the property manager Sage Realty, call for an exterior rehab of the 458-foot tall, 40-story, building.
The project is described in the filings as: proposed exterior renovations inclusive of plaza work, storefront work and temp mock up structure as shown on drawings filed herewith. No change in use, egress or occupancy. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $8,418,611.
FXCollaborative is the architect named.

The second plans, also filed by Sage Realty, call for a rehab of the cellar, ground floor lobby, and mezzanine of the 458-foot tall, 40-story, building.
The project is described in the filings as: propose to demolish and construct interior partitions, ceilings, doors and floors as shown on drawings filed herewith. No change in use, egress or occupancy. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $4,535,316.
Once again the architect was FXCollaborative.
