Kamran Malekan files plans for 17K sf commercial building in LIC

Kamran Malekan, on February 24, filed a permit application for construction of a 16,910-square-foot commercial building at 31-27 Thomson Avenue in Long Island City, Queens.

The plans call for the construction of a 57-foot-tall, four-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number Q00631498. The development site spans one tax lot.

Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have commercial retail space. The second floor will have offices and community facility space. Floors three and four will be used for additional community facility space.

The property was acquired for $1.9 million on March 28, 2008.
