Joy Construction files plans for five-story demo and 465-unit mixed-use building in Fort Greene
Joy Construction, on July 9, filed a permit application for construction of a 465-unit, 389,226-square-foot mixed-use building at 202 Tillary Street in Fort Greene, Brooklyn. Eli Weiss filed the plans.
Jorge Madruga’s Maddd Equities and Eli Weiss’ Joy Construction closed on the purchase of the site for $30 million in August of 2018.
The plans call for the construction of a 356-foot-tall, 33-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number B00542600. The development site spans two tax lots.
The project is described in the filing as: construct new 33-story mixed-use building as per plans filed.
Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have multiple retail spaces, a residential lobby and an office. Floors two through seven will each have 20 dwelling units per floor, and floors eight through 30 will each have 15 dwelling units per floor. The 31s floor will have a lounge, conference room, exercise room, yoga room, gallery, and reading space. The 32nd floor will have amenity spaces.
The estimated job cost is $132,000,000.
