Jorge Cornielle files plans for 32-unit mixed-use building in Morrisania

Jorge Cornielle, on May 9, filed a permit application for construction of a 32-unit, 34,492-square-foot mixed-use building at 1239 Tinton Avenue in Morrisania, Bronx.

There have been nine new building plans, including these, filed in the neighborhood in the previous 12 months.

The plans call for the construction of a 50-foot-tall, five-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number X00728896.

The development site spans multiple tax lots. The lot has a width of 104 feet.

The project is described in the filing as: proposed new five-story residential and community facility building. Obtain new certificate of occupancy.

Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have a residential lobby and health care space. Floors two through five will each have eight dwelling units per floor. The roof will have recreation space. The cellar will have parking.
