South Carolina-based Johnson Development Associates, a diversified real estate development company, submitted a land use application with the city on March 9, 2023, to facilitate construction of a 181,888-square-foot, single-story warehouse at 253 Richmond Valley Road in Richmond Valley, Staten Island.
Johnson Development Associates is the contract vendee. The current owner bought the site in 2010 for $1.15 million.
According to filing, the warehouse and distribution facility will have 41 accessory loading berths and 123 accessory off-street parking spaces. Construction is expected to start in early 2024, after proposed actions and required permits are approved and obtained, and to last for 12 months. Allowing for tenanting, the build year is 2025.
